About this website

Cardinal Cars is a project by Martin Kratochvíl for brokering a vehicle purchase and arranging import. This website introduces the service and lets you get in touch; it has no order or payment system.

Vehicle purchase and terms

The service scope, fee and other costs, payment arrangements, timing and responsibilities must be agreed in a specific contract before work starts. Visiting this website does not place an order.

Cardinal Cars is intended to act as an intermediary, not the vehicle seller. The customer enters the vehicle purchase contract with the identified seller. The brokerage and import arrangements have a separately agreed scope and fee. Before purchase, the recipient of the purchase price and responsibility for vehicle defects will be made clear; the intermediary remains responsible for proper delivery of its own services. Any action on the customer’s behalf must match the authority granted. Statutory consumer rights are not restricted.

Images and videos are illustrative, not stock listings or evidence of completed commissions. Displayed car brands do not imply manufacturer authorisation or partnership.

Privacy while browsing

This version has no contact form, account, newsletter, payment or booking system. The presentation code uses no analytics, advertising pixels or profiling. Fonts, images and videos are served directly from the website hosting; fonts are no longer requested from Google.

Clicking “Got it” stores cardinal-cookies-v1 in your browser’s localStorage. It contains the notice version and acknowledgement time so the notice is not repeated. This is a technical preference, not marketing consent. The website code does not transmit it. After 180 days it is treated as expired and removed on your next visit. You can delete it at any time using “Cookies & privacy” in the footer or your browser settings.

The site is delivered through ChatGPT Sites. Hosting and security may involve processing technical information such as IP addresses, request details and sign-in or access information. Platform practices are described in OpenAI’s privacy policy. This is not a claim that hosting processes no personal data.

Before the service launches

Before launch we will complete the controller’s identity and rights contact, purposes and legal bases for enquiries and commissions, recipients, retention periods and any transfers outside the EEA. These operational arrangements have not yet been confirmed; generic assurances cannot replace them.

Subject to GDPR conditions, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. You may complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection. Hosting privacy information is linked above.

Consumer disputes

If a dispute arising from future consumer services cannot be resolved directly with the provider, the competent alternative dispute resolution body for ordinary vehicle purchase and related service disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Central Inspectorate – ADR Department, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, email adr@coi.gov.cz.
